“Stamina Air Rower” is not one machine. Stamina Products, a US fitness brand, sells several air-resistance rowers under similar names. This page lists what the brand’s own site shows so you know which model you are looking at before you buy.
We have not used any Stamina rower. An earlier version of this page described weeks of home testing, a score, a comparison table and UK prices that we cannot support. All of that has been removed. The details below come from the Stamina rowing machines page, checked on 6 October 2026.
Which Stamina air rowers exist
The Stamina rowing page lists these air rowers: the Stamina X Air Rower ($719.99, reduced from $799.99), the Stamina Air Rowing Machine 1404 ($599.99), the Stamina X Air Rower 1401 ($599.99) and the Stamina ATS Air Rower 1399 ($539.99, reduced from $599.99). It also lists water and magnetic rowers, including the Avari programmable magnetic rower.
Prices on that page are in US dollars. Model numbers and prices change, so check the model name printed on the machine or listing you are considering.
UK availability
Stamina’s store lists US dollar prices, and we could not confirm that it ships to the UK or that UK retailers stock these models. Earlier versions of this page gave UK prices of £200 to £350. We have removed them because we cannot verify them.
The page also carried a button to a Fitness Options rowing page. That address returns a “not found” error, so the button has been removed. Fitness Options is an affiliate partner of this site, but we will not link to a page that does not exist.
Air rowers in general
An air rower uses a fan flywheel, so resistance rises the harder you pull. This is a design trait of air rowers in general and not a finding about any Stamina model. Check the manufacturer’s listing for the monitor, folding and maximum user weight details of the exact model you are considering.
If you are comparing rowing machine types, our WaterRower buying guide covers the water rower side.
