RED FLAG? is a mobile social game developed and published by David Frew. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the RED FLAG? Android application.

Information We Collect

RED FLAG? does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information.

The app does not require users to create an account or provide a name, email address, telephone number, date of birth or other personal details.

Information Stored on Your Device

RED FLAG? stores limited game information locally on your device so that the app can remember your progress. This may include:

  • Your Social IQ score
  • Your current streak
  • Completed decks and answers
  • Unlocked content
  • Streak-freeze tokens
  • Age-confirmation status
  • Sound and notification preferences
  • Other gameplay settings

This information remains within the app on your device. It is not transmitted to the developer or stored on an external server.

You can remove this information by using the reset option within the app, clearing the app’s storage through your device settings or uninstalling the app.

Internet Access

The current public release of RED FLAG? does not require internet access for normal gameplay. Game decks and scenarios are included within the application and are played offline.

Advertising and Analytics

RED FLAG? does not currently contain third-party advertising.

The app does not use Google AdMob, Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics or any other advertising, analytics or tracking service.

The app does not access advertising identifiers or use technology to track users across applications or websites.

If advertising or analytics features are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated before those features are released.

Notifications

With your permission, RED FLAG? may send local notifications reminding you about daily decks or an active gameplay streak.

Notification preferences and streak information are processed locally on your device. Notification information is not sent to the developer or an external server.

You can disable notifications at any time from the app’s settings or your Android device settings.

Device Permissions

RED FLAG? may request the following device permissions:

  • Notifications: To provide optional daily deck and streak reminders.
  • Vibration: To provide haptic feedback during gameplay.
  • Run after device restart: To restore locally scheduled reminders following a restart.

These permissions are used only to provide the relevant app features.

Children and Age Requirements

RED FLAG? is intended for users aged 13 and over. The app includes a local age-confirmation screen, but it does not collect or transmit a user’s date of birth.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us so that it can be removed.

Email and Feedback

If you choose to contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any information you voluntarily include in your message.

This information will only be used to respond to your enquiry, provide support or investigate feedback. It will not be sold or used for advertising. You may ask us to delete your correspondence by contacting us using the email address below.

Sharing of Information

RED FLAG? does not share personal or gameplay information with third parties because the app does not collect or transmit this information.

Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored game information remains on your device until you reset the app, clear its storage or uninstall it.

Email correspondence sent voluntarily to the developer may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the enquiry, provide support or maintain appropriate business records. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Data Security

RED FLAG? has been designed to minimise data collection. The current release stores gameplay information locally and does not operate a server containing player profiles or gameplay records.

Although reasonable care is taken when developing and maintaining the app, no electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

External Services

If RED FLAG? opens your email application or another external service, your use of that external service is governed by its own privacy policy. RED FLAG? does not control how external applications handle information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app’s features or data-handling practices change. Any revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
