Lululemon Studio vs Peloton: Which Won After Real-World Testing?

Lululemon Studio, as a standalone fitness streaming service, no longer exists. In September 2023 Lululemon announced a five-year partnership with Peloton. That deal ended the Studio membership and the Mirror hardware sales. Here is what changed and what it means if you landed here looking for it.

This page previously compared Lululemon Studio with Peloton as if both were current rivals. That comparison no longer holds. The scores, free-trial claims and prices that used to be here were not backed by anything we can verify, so they have been removed.

What was Lululemon Studio?

Lululemon Studio was the digital fitness arm of Lululemon Athletica. It grew out of the Mirror, a wall-mounted screen that Lululemon bought in 2020. It sold classes through the Mirror and through an app.

What changed

Lululemon announced that it would stop selling the Studio Mirror by the end of 2023. It said it would keep supporting devices people already owned.

The app-only membership tier ended on 1 November 2023. From that date Peloton became Lululemon’s exclusive digital fitness content provider. Existing All-Access members were given access to Peloton classes at the price they already paid.

Lululemon said it would carry on producing its own digital content until spring 2024. Co-branded Lululemon and Peloton clothing went on sale from 11 October 2023, including in the UK. You can read the details in this Retail Dive report on the announcement.

What this means in the UK

The old page said Studio was only partly available to UK subscribers and priced in US dollars. That point is now moot. There is no current Studio plan to price up.
